The research project “Social Associations – The Role, Tasks and Impact of Professional Organisations” is carried out at the University of Pannonia.

IDENTIFYING THE SOCIAL PROBLEM

The importance of the emergence of collaborations is paramount in today’s accelerated world, where knowledge and resource sharing are the basis for development. Social alliances have a complex and important meaning, stimulating local and global innovation. Their strategic objectives, that affect society, include fostering dialogue, advocacy, collaboration, promoting the common good, sharing knowledge and resources, and building mutual trust for the sake of a long-term cooperation. The importance of studying social alliances includes the issue of social responsibility, collecting good practices, supporting the further development of social innovation.

THE EXPECTED SOCIAL/ECONOMIC/ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS OF THE RESEARCH

The results of the research will show why it is worth investing time, energy and money in collaborations, what the success criteria and success factors of fruitful collaborations and networks are. In the light of the above, a model for the establishment and operation of successful professional collaborations can be developed.
