Return To TopThe research project “The research project “Digital Autonomy Support on the Autism Spectrum (DATA) and Inclusive Pedagogical Methodologies” is carried out at Eötvös Loránd University.
Promoting the social inclusion of people with special needs is a global goal and has proven benefits for all participants and society as a whole. In this context, school and social inclusion is a national and global focus in education, too. Promoting inclusion, through the promotion of autonomy, brings significant improvements in quality of life and developmental perspectives not only for the children concerned, but also for their families and teachers.
Within the framework of the project, the collection of methodological mini-cases, which deepen the practical knowledge of the teacher’s guide to the DATA system developed earlier in cooperation with the AOSZ (National Association of Autistic People), also supports the development of the independence and autonomy of children with autism learning in inclusion. The goal of the ongoing internationalisation is to make the DATA system available to Hungarian-speaking communities across the border, and later to make it available in other languages, including the application and the planning interface that works closely with it and offers methodological content.
