Starting October 2024, another seven social innovators will start implementing their projects. The unique program executed in National Laboratory for Social Innovation is managed by the HÁRFA Foundation.
The important goal of the experimental development is the small-scale testing of methods or activities helping to solve the social problem targeted by the project, the examination of their applicability, and the implementation of the “city as a lab” concept.
18 applications were received for the call for tenders announced in July 2024. The best applicants could present themselves on 18th September 2024 on a pitch day before the Selection Committee consists of the consortium partners of TINLAB. Seven projects were selected by the Committee which will be implemented between 1st October 2024 and 31st January 2025.
The experimental developments fit in the focus areas (Social effects of digitalization; Culture, competence, and human capital; Social innovations that improve the quality of life; Social innovation methodologies) of TINLAB. The projects receive remuneration, mentoring support, and can also benefit from the professional contacts network of TINLAB.
