On 27 September 2024, researchers closely associated with or advising on the Social Impact Measurement Research Group met in TINLAB Knowledge Centre. The new research project has been launched in August.
Participants of the open forum discussed three social innovation projects with a strong social impact measurement focus. The projects presented were not only interesting initiatives in themselves, but also provided a significant help to researchers in exploring the challenges faced by domestic projects that seek to measure their own impact. The forum brought together researchers from Eötvös Loránd University, University of Miskolc, University of Pannon, HUN-REN and HÁRFA Foundation.
Projects of the forum:
- Symphonia Foundation
The school of the Foundation, SAMI is a community-based music program that is fostering social change by ensuring everyday musical education for underprivileged children and young people mainly of Roma origin, inspired by the Venezuela-based “El Sistema” and the Hungarian “Kodály Method”. They work with nearly 2400 children in 28 locations all over Hungary with the help of 100 qualified music teachers.
